Illustrations
Along my practice in painting, I have carried on a parallel career as an illustrator in Children's and Young Adult Literature.
After graduating in Painting, in 1999 I decided to further my studies in this field of art with a postgraduate course to increase my technical skill and professional opportunities. I chose to study in the UK because of its renowned book illustration tradition, and I gained a place in the MA in Art (with ‘Book Illustration’ as the main subject) at the UWA, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, which I finished in September 2000.
Since 1998 I have been collaborating with various international publishing houses, with more than 30 titles published in children’s and youth literature.
Parallelamente alla mia attività di pittura, ho portato avanti una carriera da illustratore nel campo della letteratura per ragazzi e giovani adulti. Dopo la laurea in Pittura, nel 1999 ho deciso di approfondire i miei studi in questo settore artistico con un corso post-laurea per migliorare le mie competenze tecniche e le opportunità professionali. Ho scelto di studiare nel Regno Unito per la sua rinomata tradizione nell'illustrazione libraria e ho ottenuto un posto al Master in Arte (con specializzazione in "Illustrazione libraria") presso l'Università del Galles (UWA) di Aberystwyth, che ho completato nel settembre 2000.
Dal 1998 collaboro con diverse case editrici internazionali, con oltre 30 titoli pubblicati nel settore della letteratura per ragazzi e giovani adulti.
